The Latest Dive Stuff
| | May Changing of the guard.
We have seen a few new faces around Kirra Dive this past year and we are about to welcome our latest edition as our team continues to grow to offer you the best looking staff possible (kidding). Melissa Melissa is originally from Brisbane and has moved to the Coast to pursue her diving career and help out around the shop. She will be taking over from Tim who will be going back to instructing and dive travel. Tim will also be offering Advanced dives every Saturday starting from June so we can explore some of the brilliant dives sites just off the coast. It’s about time! Kirra goes Undersea. Less than a month to go before 18 lucky divers head to Osprey reef on the Undersea Explorer for the Shark Encounter/Minke whale trip. Unfortunately we are all booked out but there is always next year, so let me know if your keen and I will put you down. Chilly willy winter is upon us. Instead of shying away from the chillier waters of winter, we should be embracing the smoother seas and better visibility and above all the opportunity to wear that flash new winter jacket you just bought. I love winter diving (once I have donned my hoodie), all the best dive sites open up as the waters smooth over and the visibility can become gin clear. 9 mile is famous for its grey nurse sharks, and what about a drift on Fido’s and one of my favorite sites the back of Cook Island. Its swim through’s, caves and crevices are a delightful playground waiting to be explored. Join Tim every Saturday and discover the other delights our coastline has to offer. What’s warm this winter? Probe has come out with the product of the century. Thermo-core is as snug as a bug in a rug. It’s lined with a nice wooly coat that is wind resistant, water repellant and just really warm. Perfect for donning under your wetsuit, it comes in a full suit all the way down to a vest and hood. There is no excuse now. PADI Courses Rudi has been flat out lately after combining the HMAS Brisbane wreck and Cook Island night dive with the advanced course. It’s a great way to enjoy two awesome dives with an experienced instructor whilst also taking the next step up. The Advanced also includes deep, navigation and one more dive of your preference. Take the plunge. | Quick Links $69 double boat dives mid-week Boats going out every Sunday Check out our latest dive pictures Spear fishing boat DX-1G camera | You are receiving this email because you opted in - it’s easy to remove yourself from the list by unsubscribing. 133 Wharf Street, Tweed Heads NSW 2485, AUSTRALIA Call our front desk on (07) 5536 6622 Maps & Contact Details | |
